Annual Dinner 2012 at Dish: celebrating the best of 2011


Here is the menu folks! Ready for a mouth watering experience?

I need confirmation by Friday 27th January: number of guests, menu choice, cheque payable to Saffron Striders for £25 per head. On the evening you will have to pay for your drinks, and the tip will be up to you, as I am sure you will enjoy the dinner.

So on your marks, get set, go!

Starter Course

*Homemade soup of the day (will be vegetarian)
*Marinated Balsamic vine grown cherry tomatoes served with ricotta cheese, wilted rocket, crouton chips and a tomato puree
*Locally sourced Game, pressed into a terrine served with spiced plum compote and served with bread chips
*Deep fried Whitebait served with homemade tart sauce, dressed leaves and brown bread and butter

Main courses

*Dish ‘Catch of the Day’ sourced directly from the day boat – This will be served with crushed new potatoes, seasonal greens and a lemon and herb veloute
*‘Middle White’ pork tenderloin wrapped in Parma Ham and rosemary served with crushed Celeriac, curly Kale and a herb jus
*Mediterranean vegetable Tian served with a Parmesan crisp and Herb Gnocchi
*Confit Devonshire duck leg served with silky mash potato, parsnip puree, seasonal greens and a red wine jus topped with Parsnip crisps

Desserts

*Belgian waffle served with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream
*Apple and Cinnamon flan served with cinnamon ice cream
*Vanilla pannacotta with shortbread and fresh fruits
*A selection of ice creams and sorbets

£25 per head for 3 courses, or £22 per head for 2 courses
