Annual Dinner 2003 The demise of the Piccolo Mondo meant we had to find a venue for the dinner. On Geoff Suckling's recommendation we opted for the Chequers at Ugley, which proved to be an excellent choice. The food and service was first class and the portions certainly adequate. The wine choice was also good and very reasonably priced. "Strider of the Year" vote went to Nigel Coates, richly deserved, for his years of work for the club, his running isn't bad either. Ann Lunsden won the lucky progamme prize, a bottle of champagne. Frank Haynes the Summer league race draw, a bag of running goodies. Bottles of wine went to Nikki Jansz and Toby Lunsden in the photo caption competition (or competion as some are wont to call it).
