Felsted 10k

Paul Waters reports:

This race formed the second part of the Grange Farm and Dunmow Runners "Grand Prix" trio of events. As has previously been the case, it was very well organised and marshalled.

The race started and finished at the school, and was a fairly flat road course with some gentle undulations, through pleasant countryside on quiet lanes. The second half seemed harder than the first to me, but that was probably because the sun got warmer, and I got more tired!

With over 400 runners, this is a very popular annual event, and I'd certainly recommend it as one of the quicker 10k races on the calendar.

A good turnout by the Striders, with eight participants, and some very good times.
