Wandlebury 5m

Paul Waters reports:

This is a race around the quiet and scenic Wandlebury Iron Age fort, south of Cambridge, and involves 2 laps of undulating woodland paths.

Despite the previous heavy rain, the course was as always well drained and firm underfoot, and we were lucky to have a breezy but fine day for the race.

I felt I had a good run, only spoilt slightly by my smirking wife scuttling past me out of nowhere with 10 yards to go (grrr!).

This is a popular, enjoyable and well marshalled race, in aid of MacMillan Cancer Research, and one I'd certainly recommend. Get there early as parking is limited.
