Folkesworth 15m Nigel Coates reports: This is a good race for anyone doing a Spring Marathon. It is a two lap course on very quiet roads around the village of Folksworth, near Peterborough. There are three hills around the route which you have to do twice. Today was windy and sunny, so you needed gloves running into the wind along the back section, but then as you turned left back towards Folkworth and the wind was behind you, it immediately felt very warm and spring-like. One thing to be aware of is that car parking is often a couple of miles away, and you have to catch a shuttle bus back to the start and then again afterwards. It works well, but best to get there early.
