Stuart Field reports:

I was using this as a tester to see if I would be able to do a spring marathon (possibly the Cambridge Boundary Run). I failed the test!

Was going fairly well to 15 miles, but I think the constant undulations got the better of me. It made me glad that I did not get picked out of the hat for the club's London places. I don’t think there was a flat section on the course which was on fairly traffic free country lanes and reasonable scenic.

It was a very well organised race, with very supportive marshals and a decent goody bag and long sleeve T-shirt at the end. The weather was cold and damp, but I would recommend it as a testing course for anyone wanting to test their fitness for a marathon. Apply early though as it was full a few weeks before the event.
