Bungay Black Dog Half Marathon 18 April 2010 Fiona Halls reports: It was a good race - quite a long way to go for one - the race incorporated a Marathon and a Half Marathon, and the Marathon people did the same route as us, but just two laps! A lot of them were walking by lap 2, which made it hard to motivate yourself - especially as the first 6 miles were quite hilly!! There weren't many people I recognised! Steve Prosser from Bishop's Stortford RC won the Marathon and broke the course record. I felt pretty lousy before the start as am fighting a cold off at the moment, but was pleased with my result considering! I came 2nd lady overall - and did it in just over 1 hour 32. I was given a v nice silver engraved plate for my efforts! Henry did well too - he did it in 1 hour 47 and was pleased with that!
