Arkwright & Co / Turners 5k League

We are delighted to announce our new sponsors, Arkwright & Co Estate Agents and Turners (Soham) Ltd

Arkwright & Co offers a range of estate agency services that cater to all property needs.
Whether you are looking for a place to call home or you are in the market for new commercial property, their team is there to help.
Their honest and personal approach is based on the core traditional values of a family run business, and they aim to provide clients with the best possible service.

Turners was founded in In 1930, when brothers Wallace and Frank Turner bought their first vehicle and began delivering loads from their father’s farm in Soham, Cambridgeshire. Over 90 years on and Turners has grown to be one of the largest and most successful privately owned Transport companies in the United Kingdom operating in excess of 1850 vehicles from 32 sites and employing over 3400 people.
To this day, Turners remain an independent, family owned company now under the experienced stewardship of Wallace Turner’s Grandson, Paul Day.

The League was formed at an inaugural meeting on the 15th May 2003. Clubs currently involved are Cambridge & Coleridge AC, Cambridge Triathlon Club, Ely Runners, Haverhill RC, Histon and Impington Runners, Newmarket Joggers, Royston Runners and Saffron Striders RC.
