Safety and Wellbeing

Saffron Striders Running Club wants all athletes to feel safe and to be able to train and compete without being subjected to any form of harassment, bullying, verbal or physical abuse or excessive pressure. 

If you have any concerns about the way you are treated by Club officers, coaches, officials or other athletes, we encourage you to contact one of the welfare contacts listed below, and discuss the issue with them.

Similarly, if you feel concern that another athlete, or a friend, is being subjected to any form of abuse, you should mention your concerns to one of the contacts. Any discussions you have will be treated in complete confidence, and the contacts will help to resolve or eliminate the problem, and have access to professional assistance if required.

Financial Support

Saffron Striders has a Bursary Fund to support any club member who may have financial difficulties paying for membership, race entry fees, kit etc. If you would to be considered for a little extra help please email Mike Bradley All requests will be dealt with in the strictest confidence.
